In France it was 1 vote for each estate and not for each and individual. This disappointed third estate people and they protested against it. They wanted equal representation and vote for each individual.

Answer:

In the Estate General, each estate had only one vote.

Even though the third estate had more people than the first two estates combined, they had only one vote.

Every law was passed against them as the first two estates were against giving the third estate any rights

Thus, the representatives of the third estate were disappointed with the pattern of voting in the Estate General.
