Covalent bonds are made up by the sharing of electrons and the bonding between the elements in an covalent bond is very weak so that is the reason behind this.

The bond energy of covalent bond is comparatively weak to that of ionic bond. The atoms in there molecule get seperated with low kinetic energy only which they get after heating so they have low boiling point.
