whythere are 24 High Courts in India as as North Eastern states share a common High Court and Telangana and Andhra Pradesh share a common high court also Punjab and Haryana also share a common High Court so how can there are 24 High Courts in a country ​

North Eastern states share a common High Court because their territory is very small so all these states share a common high Court.

coming to andhra Pradesh and telangana it is resently bifurcated so soon they are going to have saperate high Court

RIBHA123: total states 29, 7 North Eastern states, 29 - 7=22, AP AND TELANGANA =2, 22-2=20, HARYANA AND PUNJAB SHARE A COMMON HIGH COURT =2, 20 - 2=18, TOTAL States left 18 so how can their will be 24 High Courts
