Will current flow more easily through a thick wire or a thin wire of the same material when connected to the same source? Give reasons.Also,give an expression for the resistance of a metallic wire in terms of the resistivity.

Current flow more easily in both wires but more current will passed in thin wire because it is thin

the current will flow more easily through a thin wire because it has lower cross sectional area as compared to thick wire due to smaller cross section area the resistance in of the wire will be less some more easily current will flow .

here are represents the resistance of the wire beta represents the resistivity of the wire and represents the length of the wire and a represents the area of cross section of the wire .
