will the element placed at the top in the activity series will undergo oxidation or reduction?

The element that is placed at the top of the Electro-chemical series (or Activity series) is Lithium.

It undergoes only oxidation.

While the element at the bottom of this series is Fluorine

It can only undergo reduction.
