(a) Tamil King Raja Raja Chola I built Brihadeshwara Temple and it is located Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu state.
(b) It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The leading 'structure of the temple' has an important tower vimana or contains 13 successive stores increasing to a height of '190 feet'. Its peak is invested by a huge dome of one block of roller about 25 feet height and weighing about 80 tons.
