take a bar magnet
u know that magnetic field line oriented from north to south pole but inside the magnet oriented from south to north .
And magnetic field line are parallel to axis inside a magnet is uniform

If u place current carrying conductor parallel in magnetic field line it experiences no force because there make Sinthita which is 0
but if u place it perpendicular it experiences force of sin 90 whose value is 1 .
