With the help of one example for each, distinguish between the acquired
traits and the inherited traits. Why are the traits/experiences acquired
during the entire lifetime of an individual not inherited in the next
generation? Explain the reason for this fact with an example.

acquired traits are the ones which an individual gains during a lifetime by learning or experiences. example: during a lifetime an individual gains the trait of being confident.
Inherited traits are the ones which an individual gains genetically from their parents. example: an individual inherits the hair and eye colour from their parents.
The acquired traits are not inherited to the next generation because they are not a part of their genetic constitution which in turn helps in forming the genetic combinations of their offspring.for example: the acquired trait of being confident is not inherited to the next generation.
