radius of 10cm

curved surface area =2πr2

area of the base circle =πr2

Total surface area of hemisphere = 2(π)r^2 + (π)r^2 = 3(π)r^2 [see diagram]

⇒ 3π(10)^2 = 3*100(π)  =300(π) ANS
