answer: d

reason:
according to work power energy theorem work done on a system by all the forces acting on it is always equal to change in kinetic energy of the particle of the system
so this theorem is valid for all types of forces

hope it may help

Work , power , energy theorem is valid in the presence of all the forces .

According to this principle work done by net force in displacing a body is equal to change in the kinetic energy of the body

when a force does same work on the body the kinetic energy of the body increases by the same amount

conversely when an opposing force is applied on the body its kinetic energy decreases

Work done = Increase in the kinetic energy of the body .

The decrease in kinetic energy of the body is equal to the work done by the body against the retarding force .
