1) ANSWER=The government agency like Food Corporation of India(FCI) buy grains from farmers on large scale and store it in big godowns. Pesticide solution are sprayed on the stacked gunny bags in the godown from time to time to protect them pests during storage.
2) ANSWER=Animal husbandry is the branch of agriculture concerned with animals that are raised for meat, fibre, milk, eggs, or other products. It includes day-to-day care, selective breeding and the raising of livestock
3) ANSWER=Fertilizers are chemical substances supplied to the crops to increase their productivity. These are used by the farmers daily to increase the crops yield. The fertilizers contain the essential nutrients required by the plants including nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus. They enhance the water retention capacity of the soil and also increase its fertility.
4) ANSWER=The Crops are grown in the month of June- July, and harvesting is done in the month of Nov-Dec is known as a Kharif crop, this crops mainly depends on the monsoon for irrigation.
Some Example of Kharif crops are: Paddy, PigeonPea, Groundnut, Sorghum, etc.
5) ANSWER=Manures and fertilizers help in conserving and enriching the fertility of the soil. By growing plants again and again on the same soil, the soil becomes deficient in nutrients. Thus it is necessary to replenish the soil with these nutrients. That's why farmers add manures and fertilizers to the field.
