"Birthday Party", the very words excite anyone of any age-be it a 5 year old or a 50 year old person. It is always exciting to attend a birthday party, especially when you have a huge friends circle. Birthday parties are an essential part of school life,  they are like demonstrations of how to behave in a social party. Of course, not all birthdays are celebrated in the same way , but out of every birthday , there is always the same objective-to enjoy the fun, food and opening of the presents. In my opinion , opening the presents is always the best part of any birthday party and the reactions of the birthday child-is just so captivating! Birthday parties are not always meant to be posh , but you can definitely not confine them to just a small room , with just 3 people attending it. Like i mentioned , birthday parties always excite me, whatever be my age!

Here are ten points that must be kept in mind while organizing a birthday party.

  1. Birthday parties are a great boost to any child's self-esteem.
  2. Many parents feel more comfortable starting with a theme around which they can organize invitations, decorations, games, crafts and food.
  3. Once you've chosen a theme, use a little creativity in decorating the scene where the birthday would be celebrated.
  4. Parties away from home usually work better for children over five since younger children may be overwhelmed by unfamiliar surroundings.
  5. Depending on the ages and attention spans of your guests, outside entertainment could be a big hit.

  7. You don't need to spend a lot of money to have a successful party. This is a party for your child and her friends — not for other parents.
  8. For brief parties, cake and ice cream is really the only refreshment you need.
  9. The hardest thing to plan for at any birthday party is the unexpected. Keep a stock of band-aids, tissue, and ice.
  10. If you have pets, it's best to keep them separate from the guests.
