Answer:

According to definitions, sustainable development is the precise way to use our natural resources with thinking about the future generations. Literally it also means same that it help in conservation of natural resources without stopping the use of the natural resources.

Now, as its name suggests "sustainable" which means which can be sustained for future generation or incoming life and " development " means to improve the of conservation method of sustainable development.

Now, benefits of sustainable development :

  • It will helps in sustaining natural resource for future generations and help them to benefited with these resources.
  • It will prevent excessive use of natural resources which could lead to its exhaustion.
  • It will also prevent major amount of air pollution. Since (under sustainable development) people may use less resources and hence lead to less emission of polluted gases that usually emerge from fossil fuels.
  • Also it prevents many species from extinction( since, less pollution occur).
  • It will also lead to prevention of other types of pollution (i.e, water pollution, air pollution and land pollution). This will prevent less degradation of land and mining under oceans.

Issues if we not support it :

  • Pollution is one its consequence which is creating green house effect and ultimately leading to global warming.
  • This global warming is leading to increase of sea level and hence increasing the risk of flood. Also it is causing skin cancer to us.
  • Mining and quarrying are leading to land degradation which is leading to decrement in soil fertility and hence effecting our agricultural procedure.
  • Also mining is adversely affecting aquatic life, since we are mining petrol there.
  • All this are leading in to making our beautiful earth into a vulnerable place of solar system.

There are many thing which benefit us if we oppose it like we will get sufficient fuels, better facilities, etc. but if we support it then we and our future generation will get more  like pollution free environment, more fuels, etc. There so many laws, programs, submit had been organised to prevent this. One of the best was Agenda 51, which was a call for  sustainable development, organised in Rio De Jenerio, Brazil.

As my final words, i wanna say that we should support sustainable development and oppose the excess uses of fuels.

That's all.

Answer:

Natural resources are something that is occurring naturally on Earth. It forms an indispensable part of our lives. It comprises of air, water, sunlight, coal, petroleum, natural gas, fossil fuels, oil, etc. However, they are exploited by humans for economic gain. Natural resources are at depletion because of the overuse. Some of these resources are available in abundance with the capability to renew. On the other hand, some are non-renewable. Thus, it demands a responsible behavior for the conservation so as to ensure their sustainability.

Why Conserve Natural Resources?

Human beings depend upon the natural resources for their development activities. If the resources are not used wisely, it would create an imbalance in the environment. Thus would head us in opposition to an eco-friendly atmosphere. The need for conservation arises from the significance of natural resources. It is as follows-

Water is a renewable natural resource. We use it for drinking, producing electricity, irrigation, in various industries and for a number of activities. Its scarcity would cause loss of vegetation, adverse effect on flora and fauna, erosion of soil, etc.

Plants and animals provide a wide range of industrial and biological materials. Also, it assists in the manufacturing of medicine and for various other uses.

It takes millions of years for the formation of natural resources.

Fossil fuels are of great importance. A lot of energy is produced from coal, oil and natural gas all of which are fossil fuels.

Forest is the most important natural resource which helps in economic development. Forest provides paper, furniture, timber, medicine, gum, etc. Also, it maintains a balance in the ecosystem. Moreover, it prevents soil erosion and protects wildlife.

Land resources support natural vegetation, wildlife, transport. The land also provides us food, cloth, shelter, and other basic needs.
