   Helen Keller was a daring girl despite her disabilities. She liked challenges. She did what even a normal person fails to do. She got a college degree studying with normal students, and that too in normal period ! She was often discouraged but she never gave up. She continued to pursue her goals.
     She was honest and frank. When she was charged with plagiarism she was stunned. Her story 'The Frost King' was found to be similar to Miss Canby's story ' The Frost Fairies'. She realised that she had copied the ideas of another writer unknowingly. Her mind was extremely assimilative. She had forgotten when she  had read Miss Canby's story. She never wrote a story again.
     She was extremely fond of books. She read a number of good books. Her favourite subjects were languages and literature. She dreaded mathematics. But she was not a mere book worm. She was fond of rowing, swimming,canoeing and sailing, besides going on excursions in the countryside. She was also fond of meeting great writers, scientists, thinkers and innovators.
