Chittagong armoury raid was an attempt made in the year 1930 to raid armoury of police and forces belonging to Chittagong armoury at Bengal Presidency i.e. the present Bangladesh.

This was an attempt made by the Armed-Indian Independence forces itself, led by Surya Sen.

The objective behind the attempt was to capture and take hold of the two major armories in Chittagong and further destruct and erode the telegraph and telephone office – the major points of communication.

Though in this attempt of raid the ammunition was not tracked down but the telephone and telegraphs were successfully dislocated and disruption of the free moment was there.

To mark the conclusion and hold the national flag was hoisted outside the police armoury by the group after which the group fled to the hills, being chased by the police.
