Answer:
A) There are two types of curcuit connection :-
1) parallal connection
2) Series connection
Description :-
1) Parallal connection :--In parallal connection there are combinations of two more then two resistors having resistane ( say X)
In the parrallal combinations of resistors the all resistors are connected in parallal each other.
But in a parallal combinations of resistors the total resistance of a particular circuit will be less then the smallest resistance .
FOR EX :-
Two resistors are connected in parallal of having resistance suppose
2 ohm and 3 ohm
Now, total resistance is -
1/2. + 1/3
3+2/6
5/6
total reaiatance = 0.833 ohm
so here we can see that the total resistance is less than the smallest resistance oh 2 ohm.
2) series connection; -In a series connection of resistors the resistors are connected in series ( connected end to end)
But in a series connection the total resistance is more then the highest resistance of that combination
FOR EX:-
we have two resistors of having resistance 2 ohm and 5 ohm
Now, total resistance -
2ohm + 5 ohm
total resistance = 7 ohm
Here total resistance is more them the highest resistance of 5 ohm

What are the difference between series circuits and parallel circuits?
With simple series circuits, all components are connected end-to-end to form only one path for electrons to flow through the circuit. With simple parallel circuits, all components are connected between the same two sets of electrically common points, creating multiple paths for electrons to flow from one end of the battery to the other.
What is a Series-Parallel Circuit?
Series:- With simple series circuits, all components are connected end-to-end to form only one path for the current to flow through the circuit.
Parallel:- With simple parallel circuits, all components are connected between the same two sets of electrically common points, creating multiple paths for the current to flow from one end of the battery to the other.
