Write a conversation between a shoe and the cobbler.
Answers
Once a cobbler was mending a shoe; seeing the sad expression on the cobbler’s face, the shoe had a conversation with him. The following is what both of them said to each other:
Shoe: Hey Mr. Cobbler, why are you looking sad?
Cobbler (Surprised): My goodness! I never knew shoes could speak!
Shoe: Everything in this world speaks, provided you have the ear to hear. Please, answer why are you sad?
Cobbler: It is a long story! The business these days is not good! Earlier the shoes required more mending; people did not have much money; so they came quite often. As a result I used to earn enough money to provide for all my family’s needs.
Shoe: Oh! I am sorry to hear it. But what has brought this change?
Cobbler: There are many factors such as people have more money, cheaper shoes, the techniques to make shoes, super-glue that does not let shoes be damaged, etc.
Shoe: Why don’t you learn these new techniques and apply for employment at a shoe making company?
Cobbler: That’s a bright idea. I will try it. Thanks for the advice!
