There are three main issues that explored by Pope in his long poem "An Essay on Man." First, he asserts that there is a timeless vision of humanity that stretches from God to the most minute form of life.

Third,Pope accuses human beings of being pride and impiety. He contends that man claims more insight into the nature of existence then he actually possesses.
