Today was World Wind day . It is organized By EVEA . So today I started my day to collect my friends and parents and uncle aunts to give our contribution on that special day . Our society head had organized a competition of than occasion . She said to clean our society and plant tree and use eco friendly items also do that things u want u can do on that special day and click pics on the moment . The Winner will be Got cash and certificate of Responsibility .
Our society made three teams the males (adults) one The women (females one ) and the children one .Women did clean streets clean dirty roads decorated homes . Men did installed Wind turbines and other works . children include me plants trees clean items , clean roads . We made poster and also recited some poems and works on speakers . At night we organized a party in which our society leader had organized party for celebrations .We got a lot of good food and other stuffs . I spent my day with my beautiful homies and loving ones . I will never forget this day

Today is World Wind Day. I was unaware about it until our geography teacher told us about it in school today while discussing about the renewable sources of energy.This day is all about saving nature by using renewable and non-polluting sources of energy. It made me think that how polluted the earth has become.Ciuld we clean it by celebrating World Wind Day only one day in the year? Mostly electricity is generated from thermal power stations which consumes a lot of coal and pollutes the air. Instead we could use solar energy or wind energy to generate electricity. That would be so good.I know that there are some hydle power stations and wind mills which produce electricity but that much is not enough. I wonder how the earth would be if we only use renewable sources of energy.Even bio-gas is a good source of energy which can be used in kitchens for cooking. It can be used as fuel.It can even produce electricity. But when I think deeply I realise that I can only think about these things. I can't go and open a wind mill.The government should do this.What I can do is save energy and clean my environment. I can do my little part.A d I guess some other students in the class will also do the same. Like drops of water fills an ocean , small changes can change the world or rather save the world.
