Dear Diary,
today was a weird day, it all started when I woke up before my alarm went off and as an usual habit I started to check my notification. I never receive any kind of SMS on my phone usually but today i received a SMS from my school. Before opening the SMS i started to think what could it be about? I ignored the SMS and got up to do daily routine. After a while I totally forgot about the SMS, like it was nothing. it was nearly 2:30 pm I guess when i received a phone call from my classmate Sanya, I picked up the call and asked her how could i help her? She simply said that she never expected me to get selected. before i could ask her what was she talking about, she hung up the phone. She was as weird as always. then suddenly that 'selected' word reminded me of the SMS. i thought i could be important. I opened the SMS and started reading it. after sometime i came to know what Sanya was talking about, the SMS stated that, "your ward have been selected as the house captain of his respected wing and that the student is expected to wear a proper school uniform for the ceremony on 11th May 2019, Monday". I totally forgot about it, well nevermind i am really happy about it and excited for tomorrow. diary its getting late so i should be heading to bed.
