For sure Lockdown is not a curse for the nature, it is a blessing from the God in the form of a disaster. This lockdown finally gave relief in the ever growing pollution. Six Months ago, no one had think about such a decrease in pollution. But, it happens, now the burning of Carbon reduced, less Water pollution, less noice pollution and even less soil pollution.
If we think from the different angle, it also helps the nature by reducing over population. Over population is also a factor that effects the nature. The more population grow, the more exploitation of resources occur.
India And The Lockdown:
Corona Virus that has changed the life of the people and their day to day routine has changed. People are staying at their homes only. Nobody is able to go out and roam because of the lockdown. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has imposed a nationwide lockdown in an attempt to slow the spread of the corona virus. This period has become a blessing for the environment. The scenario of the nature has totally changed in these days. India is a country where the rate of pollution is very high and people are also not concern for this. These days all factories, markets, shops, and places of worship are now closed, most public transport suspended and construction work halted, as India asks its citizens to stay home and practice social distancing. The main cities are recording much lower levels of harmful microscopic particulate matter known as PM 2.5, and of nitrogen dioxide, which is released by vehicles and power plants. NO2 is a dangerous pollutant, responsible for an estimated 350,000 new cases of child asthma and 16,000 premature deaths per year in India. It is also a key contributor to PM 2.5 formation.
