Sir

Subject: Lack of transport facilities

I would like to draw your attention to the abominable lack of public transport in the locality. Buses do not ply on long stretches after dark and cabs are out of the question due to the high prices they charge.

We need more public transport and conscientious traffic police who will be able to help us if the cabs refuse. The roads near my house have absolutely no buses plying for a long stretch and it is difficult to come home after work. A lot of my nighbours are also facing the problem and we are willing to petition the council office but we were hoping you could kindly help us in this matter.

Hence, it is my earnest request that you will be so kind as to do the needful.

Thanking you in anticipation

Yours sincerely,
