Subject: Concern regarding the nuisance caused by stray animals .

Newspapers being the cheapest and most common mode of mass communication, I. .........(Name ) a resident of............(Place ) wish to use its full potential in creating awareness among the masses about the nuisance caused by stray animals.

From the past few months , the number of stray animals are increasing manifold . This has made life so difficult for the common people . Stray dogs are a source of trouble . There is a fear of biting children and recently about 5 children have been bitten by them. Also the increasing number of cows and buffalos are causing trouble . many times they enter our houses . Also it becomes so difficult to carry on work due to them . We are greatly troubled by this menace .

There needs to be a strict action taken by the authorities to control this menace . Firslty , there can be sheds and shelters made for these animals so that they stop inhabiting the streets . Moreover , the municipal corporation needs to be strict and alert about it . The common folk also needs to take care of this and adopt the preventive measures so needed .


Above mentioned are the views of a laymen whose only purpose in writing this letter is to gear the concerned authorities into action.Hope my letter finds some space in the columns of your esteemed newspaper to bring the awareness among the masses.

Through the column of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the concerned athourities towards the problems that happened due to increase in stray animals in our area.

I am a local resident of this area. From many days, we are facing many problems against stray animals in our area. We have complained a number of times to the people working under you and they say it shall be done soon, but it never happens and we always get the same response. It's getting dangerous for children to play out the house because some of the dogs out of nowhere attack the people. The dogs are becoming vicious day by day and they have bitten not only children but also 2 full-grown men.The society is getting dirtier and dirtier day by day as the dogs either rip open the garbage bags which our maids carry or they litter the garbage cans all over the place. Now they have reached such limits that our maids are also not entering the society.

I hope you will publish my views in your newspaper that would help to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards their responsibility.
