Through the pages of your esteemed newspaper, today I would like to share about two of the most important issues of life.
Nowadays, every body is in the race to win and for this they are ready to adopt any fair or unfair means. So people have lost the meanings of a true sportsmanship and fair play. They do not want to understand what "sports" is all about. They are not ready to be honest with other players as they just want to win and earn money, or some other reward. This kind of unhealthy attitude should not be there and they should develop a positive spirit towards play, not a competitive attitude.
I would request you to publish this issue in your newspaper so that more people can read about it.
Thanking you,
Priya.

Dear Sir,
Sportsmanship is very important in sports as it increases teamwork, discipline, perseverance etc. sportsmanship is the character and skill of a person. Sportsmanship teaches how to interact with peers and with others. Sports can teach cooperation, sharing etc.One must realize that self confidence is not coming from winning or losing.
Sportsmanship is losing importance in the modern world of sports. Now everyone is self deviated. They doen't need cooperation with peer group and because of this they didn't know the value of teamwork. And also they have less discipline.
It is important that children and adult must be in a group to feel acceptance and should decrease the emphasis on winning. Cooperation is the thing which is much needed. Good sportsmanship is the most important aspect of a game. Someone should teach the modern children that what sportmanship is and what is the need for it. Make them play by the rules, respecting the others and officials, hard working for winning.
sincerely
Leena
