Respected sir,

This letter is to make you aware of the seriousness of the problem that is deforestation. Due to the extreme cutting down of trees, we're facing a lot of problems, such as climate change, soil erosion, desertification and many more. Today, people are cutting down forests for the production of industries, to use the land for buildings. Hence, It is important to highlight the benefits of trees. We know that trees provide food, medicine, and fuel for more than a billion people. Worldwide, forests provide 13.4 million people with jobs in the forest sector, and another 41 million people have jobs related to forests. Forests and trees are home to more than 80% of terrestrial biodiversity.

Yesterday, I was reading your newspaper. It was impressive. It's my humble request to you to highlight these problems in your local newspaper. So that people and the government would take several measures about this problem.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to you to bring to your attention the rapid increase in the number of trees being cut down by both the local people and even the government authorities in our state of Jharkhand. As we are all aware of, trees are our lifeline and they help us in more than one way. So, it is our job to make them stay and live, making sure that there are enough trees among us. If we don't prevent these felling of trees in rapid succession, it will only be us humans who will bear the brunt of natural calamities.

So, I would like to request you to please write an article or even give a report in your prestigious newspaper about the deforestation issue in the state.
