Dear brother,
Books - a treasure of knowledge and wisdom. They must be read often to improve yourself in almost every way. They encourage you when you are feeling down, or unhappy.
Books helps us to decide the type of character we wanna be in life. Good books must be read by us as they give a hope of inspiration and life. Books are indeed our best companions with real sense.
Books helps us to communicate with others easily. They helps us to improve our vocabulary and in turn improve our speaking skills, which play an effective role at the time of speeches and essays.
Books open the doors for imagination, and boosts up the power of our brain. Books gives you a peaceful and a relaxed mind - when in temper. Thus, I conclude that good books must be read and we must understand their value.....
Thus, I request you to read books.
THANK YOU

Dear brother, I`m writing to inform you that I will be home for the Christmas holidays during my school break. I regret not being at home this past school year to help you with your studies. You will be starting college soon and there are a few things I`d like to share with you to better prepare for the future. Having decided on going after a literature degree, it`s now of utmost urgency that you catch up on your readings, especially the classics. Reading in itself is essential, as it fosters a growth of your imagination. It also provides you with a glimpse into the minds, the way of thinking and way of life during the period the book was written. That is valuable information to have and not likely to be attained anywhere else. You`ll need to read and be able to discuss the books in your classes. The importance of reading will be tested as you attempt to grasp the points being made and be able to understand them. This ability will help in your daily and future life as well. I will discuss this with you further when I get home in a few weeks. Your Loving sister
