Dear Bro,
I am fine. How are you? We celebrated the Independence Day in our school on 15th August 2016. The District Collector of Delhi presided over the function. Our district Chief Educational Officer also participated in the function. The function was begun with a Salutation Song to Hindi language. We staged a patriotic drama in the function. The academic rank holders and the best students got the prizes. The function ended with National Anthem.
I hope your school might have celebrated the Independence Day in a memorable manner.
Your lovable brother.

Dear ____
I hope this letter finds you in fine fettle. I am writing this letter to share with you the surge of pride and patriotism I have been feeling since the Independence Day Celebrations at school. The entire school assembled at the ground. The principal hoisted the Tricolor. The national anthem echoed in the entire campus. After the anthem there was class-wise march past. Students marched in contingents to the beat of drum while the principal presided over it. After the march past, one act play highlighting the hanging of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev brought tears to everyone’s eyes. The group song ‘Ai Mere Vatan Ke Logo’ filled everyone with pure patriotism. At the end, the Chairman gave a speech reminding the students and the teachers of the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters and made us take pledge that we will serve our motherland, India with heart, body, and soul to bring it glory and laurels with our dignified deeds. At the end the students were distributed sweets. I really had a great time! I have pledged that I will contribute to my nation in some way by becoming a great scientist. Do write back telling how you
celebrated your Independence Day. Give warmest regards to uncle and aunt.
Yours sincerely,
