Dear Daddy,

I sincerely hope that my letter will reach you early and finds all of you at home happy and in the pink of health.

Daddy, I regret not being able to get a seat in the hostel of my school. Every I have to walk an hour to reach school and another hour to get back to the place I am staying. Sometimes I get too tired to study or do anything else.

Daddy, I have been thinking about this problem for the past few months. And I thought that a bicycle would be perfect for me. Majority of the students, both boys and girls use bicycles. This is encouraged by the school too because it is good for light exercising and is environment friendly.

So, please send me Rs 2,000 to buy a bicycle.
