Dear Papa,
May this letter find you in pink of health.
Everything is fine over here and I have started getting along with my new room mate Anita. The results of the exams have been great; I got enlisted among the top 10 students. Also, I have been selected on the lacrosse team.
But Papa, I need your permission for something. The school has planned an excursion to the Forest Research Institute and I am very keen to visit the Institute. The fee for the trip is Rs700/- and I would be delighted if you allow me to join the trip. The trip is planned for the coming Sunday i.e. 16 September. Please do let me know(and go). I have attached the form with my letter.
Convey my warm regards to Mother. Send my love to Karan and tell him to study well. Wish him luck for me.
