Dear Ali,

How are you doing? I hope your good.

I'm sorry that we couldn't come to Mumbai this time of the year, however my younger sister fell ill and that's why we had to cancel our trip.

Anyways, how was Bakrid this time of the year.

As your well aware that Bakrid is one of the most important festivals for us Hindu Muslims, and considering that cow is a sacred animal for Hindus, we tend to avoid cow sacrifices, instead we concentrate on goat and camel sacrifices.

I wonder how your Bakrid went. Me and my father woke up early in the morning for the Eid prayer. We brought the goats home 2 weeks earlier than the function to honor the festival to its fullest. My younger sister tried to avoid looking at the sacrifice, but she knows the reason behind it, to celebrate sacrifice of one of our Prophets, so she stayed strong since its her first ever Bakrid with being so close to the animals.

I hope to see you soon, as my winter vacations will be coming soon. Maybe I can ask my parents to send me over for a weekend or something.

Write soon, and give my love to everybody.

Take care, Love

Amir
