Write a note of india standard time ? why is there a time difference of almost 24 hours from arunachal pradesh to gujarat ?

The longitudinal extend of India is 30 degree. The sun takes 4 min to travel every degree of longitude. So, it takes 2 hrs for Sun to guj to AP. This give a confusion regarding the local time. So, to avoid confusion which use a standard time its is known as Indian Strandard Time ( IST). Every country had its own Strandard Time. Russia has 7 standard time!!!
