India is a democratic country so has many languages regionally
- Though there were many languages spoken by Indian people only 22 of them are regarded as scheduled languages ( recognised).
- Hindi, Telugu, Nepali, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santali, Sindhi, Tamil, Urdu were a few of those recognised languages
- Sanskrit has a special place in the Indian language legacy as it is used as a medium by ancient people, a few kings and poets. It is also considered the languages of the world have somehow originated from Sanskrit
