Munro system also called as ryotwari system was introduced by Thomas munro during British rule in india. It's features are as follows: In this system, the British collected revenue directly from the tenants. The revenue was fixed at half the value of the crop.

➡️ Ryotwari was intiated by captain Alexander Read and Thoomas Munro. This system was extended all over the south India.

➡️ In this system, Ryots were directly involved for the collection of revenue and it was fixed after the propper assessment of individual land.
