TENDONS:cord of fibrous tissues attaching a muscle to a bone.
LIGAMENT:the bundle  of fibrous tissues  joining bones or cartillaries....

two bones are connected to each other by ligament and tendons connect muscles to bones.  ligament is very elastic whereas tendons have limited flexibility.
