Here's your answer mate I have lesson so what I have understood I am going to say you...

Ovary produces a female gamete called ova 【egg】 The ovum is a single celled.

Ova will be in round egg shaped.Ovum is released from ovary .

In the time of fertilisation, sperm reaches the ovum in the fallopian tube .Sperm nucleus enters the ovum which is haploid when sperm enters the ovum the membranes of ovum becomes thicken. So that another sperm cannot penetrate the ovum. This prevents doble fertilisation of the ovum .During fertilisation.,the Sperm and the ovum fuse to form a zygote....

The ovum's structure is described below :

Ovum is a structure which is haploid in its nature. This is the gamete of female body.

When we talk about the structure that ovum possess, it can be said that ovum has a spherical shape. This gamete does not have the ability to move hence it is a non motile type of gamete.

Ovum of humans consists a large or huge number of cytoplasm. Also, large nucleus can be seen in the ovum.
