Christmas is the festival of Christians. It is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ. He is believed to be son of God. It is celebrated on 25th of December every year. Since I come from a Hindu family, we do not clebrate it, Diwali is the main festival of Hindus. Although there is significant population of Christian's and anglo- indians in Delhi but not in my locality. We are aware of it but we do not indulge in festivities during Christmas. Some of my college friends are christians and they celebrate it with pomp, they all are excited about it. They also invite me to have dinner with their families on Christmas. Diwali is the main festival of Hindus.
