Answer:

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, a South African anti-apartheid campaigner who presided over South Africa from 1994 to 1999, was born on July 18, 1918, and — died December 5, 2013. He was the first completely representative democracy election to elect a black leader of the country in the history of the nation. His administration concentrated on promoting racial harmony in order to erase the effects of apartheid. He presided over the African National Congress (ANC) party from 1991 to 1997 and was an ideological marxist and African nationalism.

There is no need to introduce Nelson Mandela. The nation's former president, who helped usher in a democratic society that aspires to include all South Africans, was one of the most significant figures in the region. South Africans spend 67 minutes assisting others on July 18, the anniversary of Nelson Mandela's birth. The 67-minute mark will commemorate Mandela's 67 years as a public servant. We make a tiny value to society and solidarity by working for 67 minutes.

The activities that residents engage in range from working at a school, planting trees, walking dogs in shelters, to painting the walls of orphanages. This year, Good Hope Volunteers and Safe Haven collaborated to make Mandela Day an amazing experience for the kids of Atlantis.

The goal of the outreach initiative Safe Haven was initially to assist parents of children with cancer. Safe Haven provided support to both families and cancer-affected kids, and the initiative quickly expanded to include working with kids from low-income households.

Children's engagement in Atlantis is one of Safe Haven's charity projects. A neighborhood with lower incomes, Atlantis faces issues with gangsterism, unemployment, and food production. Setting up activities for the kids to participate in after school involves Safe Haven and the neighbourhood community centre. These pursuits range from athletics to creative endeavours. The purpose of this initiative is to provide kids with an alternate, safe area to hang out.

To cheer up the youngsters of Atlantis on Mandela Day, Good Hope Workers dressed as Disney characters.

Volunteers set up sports and games for the kids to play and distributed food and beverages to them. Additionally, participants repainted the community centre and planted vegetables in the fresh organic yard. Together, Safe Haven, Good Hope pupils, and supporters worked to make this a special day for the Atlantean children.
