Yesterday heavy rains disturbed life in western Maharashtra. These rains started in the afternoon and continued till the evening and these rains were so strong that cut off the major roads of places like Thane. Lonavala and Pune.
Due to these rains, a lot of people were stranded on the roads and they found it very difficult to reach their respective destinations. These people were looking at different avenues but after arriving at no other option they had to spend their nights in their own vehicles.
These rains also gave the true picture of the maintenance of the roads. Even though a lot of money is spent every year on the road's maintenance the situation remains the same year after year.
