It has been so long since I heard from you. Hope you are in the pink of health. Last Friday was Teachers Day. We celebrated it with lots of fun.
That day we students went to school early. We decorated our classrooms with streamers. We wrote 'Happy Teachers Day' on the blackboard neatly with coloured chalks and waited for our teachers to come. They were surprised and overwhelmed on seeing all these. After that we had a small programme ready for our teachers in the assembly. It was to be done by us. We acted a play, sang songs, danced and even recited poems. Even though all the items were not perfect as it should have been if the teachers had taught us, we were happy that we did it without their help. At last our captain said a very emotional speech and praised the hard work of the teachers.
It was really a well spent day. Convey my regards to your parents and lots of love for you.

i hope that you are having a great time. by the way we celebrated teachers day yesterday. in the celebration in the morning we wrote teachers day on the board with lot of balloons and hearts. then we decorated the class and closed off the lights. when the teacher entered we turned on the the light and gave her a surprise. we also performed a skit in front of the teacher and together we all gave her gifts. we also performed a dance and sang a poem for her. we also went in assembly and then all the students had conducted a special assembly. we had delivered a speech too. it was fun and memorable too. i am writing this letter because we all missed you.
