The Aligarh Movement introduced a new trend in Urdu literature. Sir Syed Ahmad Khan and his association left the old style of writing in the Urdu language, which was rhetorical and academic, and started a simple style which helped Muslims to understand the main purpose of the movement.

by the end of 19th century a new wave of social and religious reformation was started in set of Muslim community anti British sentiment became more in Muslim community after the incident of 1857 as a result they stayed away from the english education during this period Sir syed ahmad khan started a new movement the Muhammad liberty society established in 1863 started to desscuss on the issue of religion social and political issue the upper and middle class youth are participated in these descation and start realized the English education

and Sir syed ahamad khan declared that quran authorised book and other work on Islam Sir syed ahamad khan fight with traditional superstitious ignorance through in his life and he also said without open mind any social and intellectual development is impossible and he didn't support the purdah system for Muslim women he called for educating a Muslim girl he did not accept polygamy and he started Muhammad Anglo oriental collage in aligarh in 1875
and he utilized the instructions to spread western scientific and natural ideas later this institution become aligarh Muslim university
