Coal and petroleum are natural resources. They are very important in our day to day life. As we use petrol every day to drive vehicles. And some creams and oils are made up of petroleum product. And coal are three types charcoal, coke, coal. They are useful in running of ships, trains. And this is also used in many creams and oils. And it is useful in roads also

Both coal and petroleum are fossil fuels. Coal is a solid fossil fuel, with between 65-95% carbon; it also contains hydrogen, sulphur, oxygen and nitrogen. Coal is actually a sedimentary rock formed under the ground from peat due the pressure of rocks in layers above it. Petroleum is a yellow to black liquid found in geological formations below the earth. Both have formed when large quantities of living organisms were buried under sedimentary rock over millions of years and have been subjected to intense heat and pressure.
