1. rapid combustion= rapid combustion is a type of combustion in which a substance burns very fast.

2. spontaneous combustion= it is a type of combustion in which a substance suddenly starts burning without any external heat

3. explosion= it is another type of combustion which occurs with great noise, great light etc.

There are two types of combustion , namely complete combustion and incomplete combustion .
Complete combustion , when all the carbon and hydrogen atoms reacts with enough amount of oxygen , then complete combustion takes place , also it's byproduct along with heat is carbon dioxide .
Eg. CH4 + 4O2 --> CO2 + 2H2O
Incomplete combustion refers to the reaction when there is limited amount of oxygen present and not all the carbon and hydrogen oxidises , also the byproducts along heat is carbon monoxide , also it gives a sooty flame , which makes the experimental gears black from the bottom , that black thing is called soot.
Eg. 2C2H2 + 3O2 --> 4CO + 2H20
