The microorganisms causes a numerous diseases in humans like pneumonia, typhoid, tetanus, tuberculosis, anthrax etc. In animals, it causes serious diseases like anthrax, black leg of cattle, tuberculosis of cattle, cholera of chicken and so on. The productivity of wheat, orange, apple etc is reduced to microbial diseases in plants like spots, soft roots, vascular diseases etc. It produces toxic cubstances in our body and leads to food poisoning.Some fungus spoils our food. They are used as bioweopons to create bioterrorism.

Common cold, Tuberculosis, Measles, Chicken Pox, Polio, Cholera, Typhoid, Hepatitis B, Malaria, are some common human diseases caused by microorganisms. They also spoil clothes and leather products. They also cause diseases in plants like blights in potatoes, sugarcanes, oranges etc. They also reduce the crop production.
