It was a late night on a Saturday. The December cold and fog was all over London and it was becoming difficult to walk on the streets.
I was scared, so I decided to take the newly opened London Underground, also known as tube and go to my house near Kensington.
I took the nearest station at Elephant & Castle and went down. There were only two other people in the whole station waiting for the train. I was getting more scared... they seemed scary, but I decided to wait because there is nothing else I could do.
It just started raining outside and there was no way I could walk to my home
After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, the trains came up to the station.
It was slowly than I thought but from what I heard it was the most modern way of transport in the world. I had gone on a train from London to Birmingham before, but the underground was something completely different.
It was also very loud and dark as it began to rush towards Kensington Station.
My station finally came and I got out of the train as soon as I could and one of them also came along. I hurriedly went up to go out but it was raining like cats and dogs. I just stopped and didn't know how to go to my house which was at least 500 m away.
The person following me, came close and offered me to come with him under his umbrella. I had no option and I took up his offer. Eventually I walked to my house and I got to know this guy lived in my area.
I should not have judged him, that was very bad of me
