Rahul was alone at home suddenly the phone rang. He hesitated for a moment but then picked up the reciever. Though he said hello there was no response from the other side. He again spoke but noone replied. After sometime the phone rang again and this time a man on the call asked if his father was at home. When rahul asked the name of the caller, the person on the other side refused to reveal his identity and kept on asking where were his parents. Rahul refused to answer and the call was disconnected.
After some time the door bell rang. As Rahul peeped through the hole he found a tall man with a beard standing outside the door. Rahul got scared and quickly ran towards the phone and called up bis father's friend, who lived in their colony and told him about the incident. His uncle asked him not to worry as he would reach soon. His uncle quickly collected some other men from the neighbour and with his pet dog reached Rahul's home. At the same time the man was searching for a way to enter the house but the dog caught his leg with its teeth. The man paniced and tried to run but was over powered by all the men.
Soon the police reached and on hearing this news Rahul's parents also returned. They all thanked the neighours for helping them. Everyone praised Rahul's presence of mind wich saved his life.
