Lotus is the national flower of our nation. It is an aquatic herbaceous plant. It floats on the top of the water , whilst it's Roots,stem and stalk of the flower remain underwater. this beautiful pink and white flower has a glowing yellow centre. the stem known as rhizome is thick and fleshy. the lotus flower is pure and it has religious significance in Hinduism. as a result it represents the energy of human body which is known as chakra. on the other hand it is associated with wonderful spirituality. there are many deities who are associated with lotus.
