hi friend
here is your answer

When it comes to taking pride in own nation, Indians are not good compared to others. We, Indians don’t appreciate what we got, we don’t appreciate what we are and where we are today. Yes, we are not the best but no other country is. Every country has problems, their problems are different than us but they do have problems. The United States of America is the richest country, it’s a developed country. A normal person earns more compared to us but that doesn’t make it a problem-free country. Do you know that the USA is becoming one of the most dangerous countries to live in? Do you know how they spy their own citizen? Do you know how they intervene in Middle Eastern and world politics to maintain their hegemony over the world?

Same time it is true that they have got better infrastructure, health insurance, education and other important systems. Point is that we fail to realize that we compare our nation which got freedom 70 years back with a country which got it 200 years back. Some will counter this point by comparing with Singapore’s development or Hiroshima or Nagasaki rebuilt after atomic bomb disaster. Yes, they have done a commendable job, full credit goes to their people and leadership. We have to realize that Singapore is a tiny country. On another hand, India is way bigger and complicated. And to expect such development, government and citizens should be on the same page. This is the one things we Indians are lacking in and which is restraining us from progress.

China was the fastest growing economy for a decade. It was growing in double digits, thanks to their infrastructure boom. But do you know how the land was acquired? There are dozens of ghost cities in China, no one lives there. Sure their infrastructure is better than us. But do you know how they are trying to acquire land in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and many African countries?

There are millions of things to be done yet in India. We are going there, it will take time. By that time other countries will go much ahead. We need to do a lot, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t appreciate what we got. These are some things which makes me proud to be an Indian.

Democracy

India is the biggest democracy in the whole world and I am proud of it. We know that but don’t understand it. Because of this democracy only we can express ourselves, we can vote. It is true that democracy has loop-holes, it is not the best governing system, neither the communism. Politicians take advantages of these loopholes, play with the system. But we need to understand, there is no other option which comes close to it.

We know that China is progressing faster than India but they have a communist one-party government system, which controls everything. China boasts their progress but what about people, their rights? China is a closed country where all aspect of it ran by the government. Do we want such a system in India? Are we ready to compromise freedom for development?

We compare ourselves to the richest country like USA or UK which was a biggest imperial empire. Those who don’t understand how these countries became rich and stay rich makes failing comparison. The USA made money by selling guns, tanks, planes, and ammunition in world wars which killed and displaced millions of people. They intervene in almost every country’s politics, not because they care for people of that country (though that is the excuse they always give), they do it for their own profit. They will go to any extent to maintain their hegemony over the world.

British looted almost whole world in the colonization era, they let people die on roads but kept looting everything from grains to gold. The same thing is done by French in Africa.

Free Press

Frees press the fourth pillar of democracy, without it, democracy will not work. India has the biggest press in the whole world, we have hundreds of regional language newspapers, vibrant Hindi, English, and regional language 24×7 news channels.
