Climate change is one of the complex problems in India. now, there is a global consensus about the threat because of the climate change. The climate change will make monsoons unpredictable; as a result, the rain-fed wheat cultivation and total production will go down.

Climatic changes have become more prominent now because of the global warming which is the worldwide concern. The release of various greenhouse gases in the atmosphere by many natural means and human activities causes the increase in atmospheric temperature because such gases have a capacity to absorb all the heat in the environment from the sun, burning coal, etc.

Increase in atmosphere temperature causes many climate changes like increase in sea level, flood, drought, weather changes, increase summer season, decrease winter season, melting glaciers, increase the death rate, increase the number of diseases, declining ozone layer, and other so many climate changes. Burning fossil fuels releases more carbo dioxide which is increasing day by day because of deforestation. Plants are the main source to utilize carbon dioxide as a food, however, we are disturbing the natural cycle by cutting more plants.

The global warming has really affected and forced the climate to change over the last century throughout the world. Sea levels are rising and oceans are becoming warmer.

The intense droughts threaten crops, wildlife, and freshwater supplies. Climate change is the long-term variations in the weather patterns. Climate itself adjusts time to time, however, going at wrong path since many years because of regular loss of huge ice sheets.

Earlier the earth atmosphere was covered with ice-sheets which makes the earth atmosphere cool by preventing the earth from heat and sending back extra heat out of the space from the earth.

The Indian government has taken many steps in the implementation of clean development mechanism projects in the country. Efforts are being made to extract energy from urban and industrial waste. The use of plastic bags must be substituted with eco-friendly plastics. In areas of water scarcity, drought-proofing measures through water storage and rainwater harvesting can be applied. Unless we develop indigenous green technology, we cannot attain a sustainable development.
