Close to the river, the Golghar is a domed colonial granary overlooking the city.Patna is the largest town and headquarters of Patna district, Patna division and Bihar state. Patna is the capital of Bihar state.

✅Patna is the Largest city in the Indian state of Bihar. Patna is the capital of Bihar and is situated on the banks of the Ganga river. The city was originally known as Pataliputra. It was the capital of Ashoka, the king who built all the temples of Bodh Gaya.

Patna is also a very famous pilgrimage centre in India. It has some of the most sough after Bhuddhist, Hindu and Jain pilgrim centres like; Bodhgaya, Rajgir, Nalanda, Vaishali, and Pawapuri.
Its Museum has the largest fossil of a tree in the Whole World. Its the city with the largest riverline, it is surrounded by river on 3 different sides. There is a Gol Ghar which is shaped like beehive, built by Britishers to store grains. There is an ancient mosque built by one of the sons of Aurangzeb.

The People of Patna are very Simple and very Helpfull too. Communication is not a problem in Patna. It is very well connected with all the famous places of India. City transport system is also remarkable. Hotels of all types are available here.
