Sant raut was the person who convinced M.K.Gandhi to visit Champaran. He was born in 1861 at Amolwa village, in Champaran, where his Barai ancestors lived for 200 years. Mr. Bhagat stated himself about this in front of Champaran agrarian committee. His another village was Amolwa (अमोलवा) in Champaran itself. In Murli Bharahwa he has acres of farming land and harpur village. His father's name was dahadhi raut . He was a villager from India who became famous for his association with Mahatma Gandhi during Champaran Satyagrah [1]. Sant bhagat was instrumental in inviting Gandhi to Champaran village in Bihar and this struggle was a turning point in India's fight for independence. All the farmers and Mahatma Gandhi Sandhi used to meet Raut (Bhagat) home and execute the work by plugging it..At the behest of Sant Bhagat, the land for Bhatiharwa Gandhidhi Ashram was prepared by the mahants of the temple there. And there the cottage was built with the bass of the Sant Bhagat garden and taking it, and the school was built. And his elder son constructed the school of Chandi Bhagat Board of Amolwa village on the lack of education.
